Journal for 2006-5-30 Tue..
Weather: Sunny Plan: Akagi JHS

Last weekend I had an interview for a private ALT position. Signe and I wet to Hiroshima City to meet up with Craig from Altia Central. We talked over lunch at our favorite garlic restaurant. Afterwards we went to Starbucks and talks some more over coffee. It turned out to be over 5 hours, and the longest interview I have ever had! When it was all over, I got the thumbs up, so starting this September I plan on working in Miyoshi, Hiroshima Prefecture.

I posted a new Trev Report today, as well.

    • Woohoo! Gaidai forever. :P I wonder how many of us are still in Japan... I know of you, Crazy Colin, and myself, but that is it.

You should really visit the Oki Islands sometime, their Soylent Green is to die for. :)
  • Grats!!! =D

PS. That garlic restaurant is the shit. XD
  • Congrats! Signe told me that you got the Miyoshi job! Do you know yet which schools in the Miyoshi area you'll be teaching at (besides, presumably, Kimita, where I know they will adore you). Sakugi, by any chance? Let me know if there's anything I can tell you about Miyoshi schools! :)

    Good luck!
    • I am hoping for your old schools, Kimita and Sakugi. Signe seems to love them both and they are really close, but I have to get the official word from ALTIA CENTRAL first...
