Weather: Sunny   Plan: Sakugi Elementary School

I started my new job today. I am working for a English teaching company called ALTIA. I am teaching English at some elementary and junior high schools for ALTIA in Miyoshi, Hiroshima. But, I am living at the same place. Most of my schools are close to my house in Iinan, Shimane. Actually, my wife Signe is now working at the schools I worked at before August. I am working at the schools she used to work at, too. We switched positions!

I started teaching English at Sakugi Elementary School today. The school only has 75 kids, so the classes feel really friendly. I am always nervous before I go to an elementary school, but if the kids are energetic I get energetic, too. The 5th graders were especially active in 6th period. They were laughing and giggling all throughout the games we played. There is no chime or bell between classes at Sakugi Elementary. That is a bit odd for Japan.
